NITHO social media conversations

NITHO has just sep up a new way for internal and external communications.

We are thinking more and more that an effective communication starts from listening. We believe in this and we have just set up a collection of social media channels. From now on our users will be able to follow us on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Flickr, Linkedin (just click on buttons on the right side of NITHO website). This is not just a temporary trend. This is the way we like, the only way to understand the needs of people using NITHO products.

We are also extending the partnerships with real NITHO testers (like we did in Italy with Italian Videogames Federation) to all the countries in which NITHO is present. Testers are not intended as high-skilled professional gamers, we simply look for people that like gaming, and NITHO products as well. We need their help to improve our products. Testers are our ears, our eyes and our advisors.

Faxtel–India and NITHO to sign a huge distribution agreement for Indian videogames market

With a forecasted global turnover of more than 100 million USD within 2010, Indian videogames scenario is one of the most important emerging markets in the world. There is a huge potential audience of around 1.2 billion inhabitants, it is also one of the largest English-speaking country, and - thanks to the investments of big players such as Sony, Microsoft and EA - videogames markets has just started to grow. Rapidly. From 2007 to 2010 this market will have increased 7 times (17 to 120 million USD).

Indian consumers have been using more and more gaming peripherals, most of all outside the traditional scenario of “hardcore gamers” playing in their rooms with no social contacts. Within this scenario Faxtel-India, one of the most important distributor specialized in retailers, has just signed an agreement with NITHO, Italian gaming peripherals leading brand, to look after the Indian market. NITHO is a multinational company with head office in Italy and a worldwide presence in more than 30 countries, providing a huge range of accessories to play with gaming consoles, thanks to the team of 40 professionals working in R&D, Designs, Product Development and Quality Control based in Italy and the collaboration with some Video Games Federations to engage professional console gamers into the development of some products.

NITHO supports Tekken 6 and Namco Bandai

NITHO jas just made a partnership with Namco Bandai Partners Italy.

On the occasion of the launch of Tekken 6, Namco Bandai, one of the most important videogames distributor and publisher worldwide, has set up a number of tournaments for "professional" players of Tekken 6 with a tour into some Gamestop POS, with the technical contribution of FNIV (Italian Videogames Federation). NITHO will be supporting those tournaments and the finals with some products given as prizes for the winners, and in particular the Multi Arcade Stick, special device ideal to play "fighting" and "arcade" games such as Tekken, to feel like in a real "coin-op" saloon.

Tekken 6 is a flagship title for Namco Bandai and this is the proof of NITHO intentions to be partner of strong publishers to create events and activities in the videogame arena.

NITHO shows its NEWS at Global Sources - Electronics & Components in Hong Kong

NITHO is going to attend next Global Sources /Electronics & Components trade fair in Hong Kong.

Nitho at IDEF trade fair

NITHO brand will be present at the next "Idef - Interactive & Digital Entertainment Festival" in Cannes. This event, crucial for b2b operations in South Europe, will be held from June 30 to July 2. 

It will be a very important occasion to present NITHO strategies and products for Christmas 2009.

Idef will be the place to meet buyers and press to plan and discuss about the releases for the next Peak Season.

NITHO: new partnership with FNIV, Italian Videogames Federation

NITHO has just set up an agreement with FNIV (Italian Videogames Federation). 

Fniv signed one exclusive agreement with MSP Italy, a sport promotion organization recognized by CONI, the Italian Olympic Committee, to start the official registration procedure to putting the videogames activities as a real sport.

FNIV is very active in fostering and promoting "electronic sports".

During the last 2 years FNIV organized the PES (Pro Evolution Soccer) official videogames contest.

NITHO will be master sponsor in all the FNIV events, FNIV will provide NITHO webiste with product thematic news, and soon there will be some other very important news.

NITHO at Hong Kong Global Sources fair
